Ukraine nationals in Destination Country

Options

Ukrainian citizens can come to Lithuania visa-free and stay 90 days. They can receive a temporary residence permit or visa for 1 year, without declaration of place of residence, based on humanitarian grounds (should register at earliest convenience at a special branch of the Migration Dept. of Lithuania at Pramonės St. 1B, Alytus, which works 24/7 or any other branch). They do not need employment permits. They can also receive a renewable temporary residence permit for 2 or 3 (based on qualification) by submitting an application along with an Employment Agreement to any branch of Migration Dept. of Lithuania. Ukrainian citizens must have a valid travel document.
Ukrainian citizens holding biometric passports and whose national visas or temporary residence permits expire in the Republic of Lithuania can immediately start enjoying the 90-day visa-free regime upon the expiry of these documents.
